Amenities at the Officer's Inn.

  • We are located on the parade grounds of historic Fort Stevens, just a short walk to the museum entrance.
  • World-class beaches are nearby.  You can hear the pounding of the surf from the porch.
  • The wreck of the Peter Iredale is just down the road. (It wasn't our fault!)
  • The Hammond Marina and its charter fishing fleet are within walking distance.
  • Hiking and bicycling trails abound nearby.
  • Deer and elk visit us in the morning.
  • With the original pressed tin ceilings, crown moldings, and other architectural details still intact, you can experience the gracious lifestyle of the Army officers of the past.
  • The Officer’s Inn has several suites that offer two bedrooms with 3 and 4 beds each.  Combined with the park across the street, the Officer’s Inn is specially suited to accommodate families or groups.
  • The common areas include 2 large formal living rooms and dining rooms that can be joined by opening French Doors.  This makes the Officer’s Inn able to handle group functions such as retreats, reunions, weddings, and meetings.
  • There is a flat screen 20" TV in one of the living rooms, tucked into an antique amoire.  We have a selection of "Made In Astoria" movies, including the Goonies, Short Circuit, Kindergarten Cop, The Ring 2, Free Willy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3!
  • All of our guest rooms also have flat screen TV's and Cable.
  • Wi-Fi internet access to DSL throughout the Inn!
